Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Lipstick Review - Wearing Kim Kardashians lipstick ?!

I've never really experimented much with Charlotte Tilbury's cosmetics. I'm in love with her cream eyeshadows, but nothing else has really caught my eye enough to justify her extortionate price tag but when I saw this lipstick on @wendy_online 's instagram, I just had to rush out that week and buy it. I think it's the gorgeous, elegant packaging and bullet shape that pulled me in.

The 'Hot Lips' collection is Charlotte Tilbury's latest release. It is a collection of lipsticks inspired by and in collaboration with a selection of amazing celebrity women; including Miranda Kerr, Nicole Kidman, Salma Hayek, Kate Bosworth, Laura Bailey, Cindy Crawford, Helena Bonham-Carter, Liv Tyler, Emily Ratajkowski, Carina Lau, Poppy Delevingne, Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss, Sienna Miller, Penelope Cruz and Kim Kardashian-West. I love that we're celebrating strong women - go girl power! I picked up the lightest nude shade (duh, pinky nude addict here) which was inspired by Kim Kardashian West and was coincidentally the exact same lipstick @wendy_online had got.

This collection is a mixture of Tilbury's K.I.S.S.I.N.G and Matte Revolution formulas. For anyone who is new to her formulas, the K.I.S.S.I.NG range was the first she launched and are a satin finish, which are creamy and high pigmented, creating a medium-full coverage look. They have a natural-looking shine which makes them much more comfortable to wear. The Matte Revolution formula is just that - matte, but I'd say they were more of a comfort matte than full Kyle Jenner-esque. The shade Kim K W is of the K.I.S.S.I.N.G formula and, as I don't own any of the other's in this collection I can't say for all, has a subtle vanilla scent that disappears the second it's applied.

There's just something about a Tilbury lipstick which feels luxurious (but maybe it's just the £22 price tag).

Despite the beautiful colours and easy application, I do find that these settle into the lines of your lips if not applied on top of a lip liner. This isn't an issue for me as I always fill in my lips after I've lined them anyway, but it's worth a mention.

Tilbury's lipsticks have a formula that doesn't come by often and when it does I have a tendency to buy the whole shade range. The comfort matte really is genius, it's hydrating and creamy but you can still make your way through a (veggie!) burger without eating your £22 lip colour.

So which celebrity's colour do you want to wear?
